October offers plenty of ideas for journal pages: fallen leaves, acorns, pumpkins, and Halloween details. Here are some layouts and drawing ideas to try if you'd like a seasonal page.
October bullet journal ideas
For this weekly spread, I drew leaves across the center of the page as though they were blowing in the wind.

I sketched maple leaves in pencil, added warm yellow, green, orange, and red with Tombow ABT dual brush markers, then outlined them with a Sakura Pigma Micron pen. The same leaves could continue onto other pages in the month.
Maple leaves have an irregular shape, but a repeated pattern of points helps when drawing them. Here's the sequence I used:
- You start by first drawing a central line for the leaf.
- Then you draw two lines coming out on either side of it near to where the stem is. Then you have a stem and three lines.
- From each line drawn to smaller lines that come out.
- Then connect these lines at the tip with a curved line to the center line.
- Finally, connect all the rest of the radiating lines to make the leaves.
October Bullet Journal Cover
These are a few ideas for an October cover page.
I used pumpkins, a striped bow, bare branches, and an autumn sky for this cover. Colored pencils added the sky and shadows, and burnishing helped smooth the color.
Hello October

This cover uses colorful leaves drawn with the same technique as the weekly page above.
Cute & Spooky Witch's Hat

For this cover, I drew a witch's hat with pumpkins, spiders, and oak leaves, then colored it with Tombow ABT markers.
